All About Amélie!

Her Sound

Fuzzy and warm, Amélie Page’s music—a mix of singer-songwriter, indie-folk, and the occasional pop moment—is a kaleidoscope of experiences and emotions so deeply personal, you'll feel as though you experienced them yourself.

Amélie's penchant for unique vocal arrangements is likened to the hot, silky water of a freshly drawn bath, layers upon layers of melody wrapping around you like the soft, clean bathrobe you put on after. Her combination of acoustic fingerstyle (each note, a star; an intricate constellation of sound yet to be discovered), exuberant strumming patterns (the patterns, wind blowing up, down, and every which way under the sun), and gritty electric guitar (the sound, rough and scratchy; sandpaper to smooth out the particularly abrasive emotions) all serve to create a raw, authentic depiction of her life as she sees it; or rather, as she feels it, and longs to let it be felt.

Who? Why?

But who exactly is Amélie Page, you might be asking. (Or you might not, in which case, your lack of curiosity probably led you to click off ages ago, and you're not reading anymore.)

Why should you, the main character of your life (and probably the universe), care about some twenty-one-year-old something who has lots of promising words (she really likes words, if you couldn't already tell) and fairly little to show for it? Why should you invest your time in an unknown artist, just another one of many in the seemingly endless catalog of "singer-songwriter, indie blah-blah-blah"’s?

And the answer is: you don't have to. Not if you don't want to. You are your own person, after all; no one can force you to listen or force you to care. But... Amélie would really, really like it if you did. Like, it would probably make her entire year—maybe her entire life, if you did.

Amélie has always longed for connection—to the planet, its people, and herself—and music has been one way she's found it. She hopes you will take a chance on her music and feel some of that connection.

gimme some social proof!

It's here where most artists would put a notable quote from a reputable publication, so you have a trustworthy secondary opinion on whether or not to care about said artist—but Amélie doesn't have that yet.

So instead, take this quote from a text one of her sister's coworkers (whom Amélie has never met nor spoken to, which is about as far as she's gotten yet in terms of unbiased reports) sent her:

Your sister is so talented! We are officially obsessed over here at the [REDACTED] house! The kid even added to her sleepover playlist for tonight!”

— Izzy's coworker

High praise, indeed. If notoriously harsh critics such as middle school girls enjoy Amélie Page's music, you might too.

Finally, onto the boring biographical stuff:

Amélie grew up in a very musical family, a performer at heart, but she didn’t start writing music until she was twelve years old. After the sudden and traumatic death of her older sister (not the aforementioned one; she has two sisters), she needed a way to express her grief and began channeling her experiences into her songwriting.

Amélie strives to create music that not only expresses who she is and what she’s gone through but also speaks to someone’s soul at the same time. She offers a unique perspective on loss—particularly suicide loss—mental health and life as a whole.

Amélie graduated from Berklee with a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting in Spring 2025.

(Like, she literally just graduated. Pretty crazy, if you ask her.)

Her debut single, “Impressions” (ft. Gunn Kang), was released in July 2024 and has received over 7,000 streams worldwide. It's available on music platforms everywhere, and she hopes you will give it—and any future music—a listen!
